The iconic Magnetic Hill, the turquoise coloured Pangong Lake, the confluence of two mystical rivers, ancient and awe inspiring monasteries and the highest passes are a few of the marvelous attractions of Leh and Ladakh

 

REACHING THERE

 

Leh Airport is conveniently connected to Delhi, Jammu and Srinagar.

 

The nearest railhead is Jammu Tawi or Kalka, both connected to all major cities and towns in India.

 

Leh is connected by good motorable roads to all major places in India through Manali and Srinagar.

 

Best time

 

The  Summer Season: The Winter season in Agra begins in May and extends roughly till September. It is best time to visit.

 

Even in winter Leh is connected by air and people can travel and explore winter destinations such as Zanskar valley.

Ideal Itinerary

Day 1 : Delhi to Manali

 

Arrive at Manali from where a representative of our agent will take you to your hotel. Spend a leisurely day exploring this charming little hill town. Some places that you’d like to cover while sightseeing in Manali are Hadimba temple, Van vihar, Old Manali and the Manali market.

Late in the evening, have dinner at your hotel and overnight stay.

Day 2 : Manali to Sarchu

The road trip from Manali to Leh starts. Drive up to Sarchu via the hilly terrains of Rohtang Pass (13000 fts)

Early morning after having your breakfast on the second day of your comfortable Leh Ladakh holiday and leave for Sarchu. It is a major halt point with tented accommodation in the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway, on the boundary between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh.

The highway crosses some of the highest mountain passes in the world and promises to be one of the most memorable and scenic experiences of all time. Some important points that you’ll cross on your journey are Rohtang pass, Keylong, Jispa, and Baralacha. After a hectic day, check into your hotel at Sarchu and retire for the night.

 

Distance from Manali to Sarchu: 230 km || Approx. 8-10 hrs

Day 3 : sarchu to Leh

 

After breakfast, Proceed to Leh via Tanglang La and Lachulung La in the morning after having a hearty breakfast at your hotel. The route is very scenic and you’ll start feeling the atmospheric changes as you go higher.

On reaching Leh in the evening, take some time to relax and get used to the high altitudes. If you feel good enough you could also pay a visit to the Leh Market, Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Gompa.

Distance from Sarchu to Leh: 244 km || Approx. 6-7 hrs

 

Day 4 : Leh to Nubra valley

 

After having your breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via the highest motorable road in the world Khardung La. On reaching the enchanting valley, get ready for some of the most fun activities of your Ladakh holiday.

Start by exploring Deskit, Hunder Villages and enjoy a double-humped Camel Safari in Sand Dunes as you watch the sunset. You’ll spend the night at a hotel in Nubra Valley where you’ll also be served with a healthy and homely dinner, marking an end to the sixth day of your 10 day Leh Ladakh tour itinerary.

Day 5 : Nubra valley to pangong lake

 

In the morning visit / explore Deskit, Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok Village crossing Durbuk and Tangste finally reaching The beautiful Pangong lake. After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse and check into Hotel / Guest House for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 : pangong to Leh va changla

 

wake up to one of the most beautiful sceneries that you’ve seen in your life. As the sunshine shimmers on the placid waters of Pangong Tso, your heart is sure to skip a beat. This is the highlight of your Ladakh holiday.

Later in the day you will travel back to Leh. On the way back you can make a quick halt at Chang La for a piping hot cup of tea and delicious Maggi.

This day you will cover local tour of leh.

 

Day 7 : Leh to Keylong/Jispa

 

On the 7th day of your Leh Ladakh tour package, your exciting journey ends. In the morning, as you wake up, you’ll be served with a delectable breakfast. After which you can head out to return journey to Manali. On the way halt at Keylong for night.

 

Day 8 : kelong/Jispa to Manali drop

 

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and start return journey to Manali. By evening reach Manali , checkin to the hotel and overnight stay.

 

Day 9 : Manali to Delhi

 

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and You’ll be driven down to the delhi/Chandigarh airport to board a flight back home.

Tour ends with sweet memories.
